anyways, i shall spare you every single precious minute of your sweet 16 from reading my crap.
its been 7-gg 8 years since i first met you.
i still remember during the ES4E camp back in primary 3,
that was when i first knew you.
hmmm if i remember clearly you were wearing white and pink sports shoes!
HAHA. thats how great my memory is LOL.
&& i still have that picture of you & me with mouths open watching the performance.
then primary 4, you were the avid fan of tea drinker.
eating from canteen stall no.1 hahhas and you liked omelette.
i clearly remember thinking whats that group of weird prefects drinking tea.
then when we did duty *ahem*
and when joy taught us to sneak and stuff food into our mouth.
remember?

&& during p.5 when we were in the same class.
playing catching. doing duty at fishponds!. eating ice cream waffle. and maggie mee which up till today, i can quite frankly tell you i didn't like it as much as you did, you were nuts over it! this time we drank green tea, with steph & rach haha. we squabbled pretty much over stupid stuff which seems so childish now. oh and remember during the millipede incident when ozp threw a millipede into my school blouse and he peeked in (that pervert!) lol. i was crying, the first time i did in school and you told me ' you better stop crying or i don't friend you ' lol childish and funny as it seems now, it worked! then when we were playing pregnancy, the card game, and i almost slipped, and you exclaimed ' eli! oh no you got a miscarriage ' tsk. made me embarassed only, and you used to tie pig tails then. remember after napfa test, i went over to your house, with that cabinet full of cartoon figurines. your room hasn't changed much either ok minus the figurines and plus the lacy door knob. hohos ;D then your grandma put powder on your neck and i wondered whats the powder for.

during p.6. wine, that dao dao guy (too many nicks for that guy was it last called zhang lang?), curry and hairy legs, the fun we had laughing over these people. playing catching AGAIN. fretting over exams. quarrelling and patching back during the p6 prefect investiture behind the curtains. more time spent at the fishpond, i seriously wonder why you got so many duties at the fishpond, its utterly unfair you know! you get to look at fishes while i get to sit at staircases watching people eat. HA! graduation day, ohh don't remind me about it, its utterly horrid to remember that ' gao gen xie ' song hahas. i shudder at the thought of it now.

sec 1. when we lost contact momentarily too caught up in our own school lives. which i regret now.

sec 2. keeping in touch again, somehow wavering between keeping contact and losing touch, then when you called to say ' you were going to shanghai ' that KILLED. man! we were talking about going overseas when we were young without parents if you remember? haha! i hold you to yout promise.

sec 3 & sec 4 years - being there for each other. coming my house to play powerpuff girls. pizza overload!! the touching video you made ;) remember the pooh with the diapers, shopping at orchard in the rain and so much more...

oh mans! QUICK COME BACK TO SINGAPORE SAMANTHA!!!!
but now. im sending you these HAPPY BIRTHDAY (; WISHES to you over many miles in shanghai.
you're not only blessed but a blessing to me and those around you.
I thank God for a sister & a friend like you.
though we get busier as the days pass,
this friendship is of a lifetime.
